Surf Perch fishing is fun activity that can be enjoyed by everyone. Perch are widely distributed along the west coasts of Mexico and United States. They are abundant and great tasting. Two of the most common species of surf perch are the red tail and striped perch. Red tail perch are the largest of the sea perch family and can grow up to 20 inches in length and weigh up to 5 pounds. Striped surf perch are smaller in size and weigh up to 3 pounds.
